Jean, companies that guide higher and are still reasonably valued is going to be my modus operandii now. I thought a lot about this this weekend and while I may make exceptions, this is going to be 80% of my trading shorter term from now on.

I have enough risky little stocks for fun in my portfolio like FONX and FCSH which I both think can make 500% gains or much more in a year.

What I want are SAFE N' SANE stocks like WM, KG, CD, FLEX, COST and GE in my intermediate and long term accounts and ONLY reasonably-priced stocks like the above that offer upbeat guidance going forward in my short term accounts.

Incidentally as soon as ORCL sees things improving, I am going to add that one too.
