On the hourly MO gapped this morning below the neckline (right near 51 1/2) of some sort of a topping formation, and came right back up. IMO yes, an argument can be made for a long - but it has to show strength very soon, and stay above that support.

Since the action since the open basically defines "dull market," I'm trying to figger out if that should be ringing a "never short a dull market" kinda warning. I realize no one has a compelling take for renewed up here, but geez. . . it's a paint drying kinda day (as was much of yesterday, actually).

the freep, who's happily on Freeplet duty today so will read so many books today that I will ponder the vagaries of the market in rhyme from here on out.
