If IIRC Elmer's total premium so far is about $1.80 for three months (minus commission). In the same timeframe I sold MAR15 Calls for $1.05 (expired worthless) and APR15 Calls for $1.0 (yesterday). That's already a higher gain and after April expiration I possible can sell more. My current expectation for AMD is that Q1 will be pretty well (good ASPs, slight decline in volumes) but Q2 much worse (declining ASPs, loss of performance advantage). They key question for the stock after the Q1 CC is IMO wether they will reiterate Q2 guidance (profitability). Andreas

I am just trying to understand, why don't you just let your April CCs just sit there and expire worthless. How do you know what the price of AMD will be on April 19th? I stated from the beginning that I am not trying to make a killing here. This is a business and I'm running is as such. I am trying to get 2% a month. That's $0.30. I saw a chance to get $0.40 for April/May so I took it. I'm ahead of my business plan. I fully realize that they could expire worthless but I'm not going for the kill.
