You're particularly warm and fuzzy today, LLCF. Two-thirds of those "jerks" are US citizens and companies. They're not reluctant to lend to our Government precisely because they know they will be repaid.

You're a former investment banker - well, i-banking analyst, anyway - so you know what the "risk-free" rate is and why it is "risk-free."

As far as printing dollars goes, it's only a problem if Greenie overdoes it. We have no inflation - deflation actually - ergo Greenie is being conservative and not printing enough.

All this bitching and complaining about the seignorage benefits of being the leader of the free world and having the world's reserve currency. I don't get it. Enjoy it while it lasts - 'til the Chinese give us some competition in, oh, about 40 years or so.
