No, Dave. I rode slightly out of the money calls on the day before expiration or the day of expiration, a couple (few?) months ago. They were 4X for me, and went to something like 40X, if I remember correctly.

(I don't, but you get the general idea)

Nope, it was a one day "sentiment"/greed play.
