Hi Peter,

During the nine-month period
ended September 30, 2001, natural gas
sales increased 94% to $102.5 million
from $52.9 million in 2000. Gas production
was up 31% to 64.4 mmcf/d from
49.2 mmcf/d for the same period of
2000. The average gas price increased
49% from $3.92 per mcf in 2000 to
$5.83 per mcf in 2001.

I did some more checking. You are correct (< than 50%) and in fact it appears significantly less according to the above excerpt from the web site. It is still a sizable amount though considering that the derivatives don't help under 4.91. However it appears that biz.yahoo.com may just have provided a buying opportunity. I haven't read up on debt yet and a call to IR to get an update on hedges is in order as this info is a bit stale (3rd q 2001).
