I posted the ABN AMRO "take" (and that's what I called it) as a point of info, i.e. their "opinion" on what they heard at CTIA. Do I listen to what analysts say? Sure - because in addition to LTB&H I do some ST trading, and what analysts say can and does affect near term stock price movement. But because I posted their opinion, I'm "dreaming" and "praying" because my posting their opinion implies that I will act on it? Hardly. But in this case, they made three points with which I agree: (1) CDMA operators hold a technological and timing advantage over TDMA/GSM operators. (2) Wi-Fi technology was highlighted by several operators, and the facts presented reinforced our view that this technology is a potential compliment to 3G, not a replacement. (3) A lot of work on the roaming revenue model is needed before 802.11 can be integrated into wireless carrier data offerings. You may think (and are entitled to say) that these are all "verbal diarrhea", but they represent opinions just as valid as any you post. In any event, I don't think I said anything to provoke such a disparaging personal response. What happened to your announced philosophy of "post unto others as they post unto you"? David T.
