And Intel hasn't officially admitted there is a 86-64 project going on either. Nor has Hammer been officially introduced. I sincerely doubt the new company would be willing to risk the whole enchilada on Itanium anymore than Intel is. Let get real here. Intel is preparing if necessary to go with plan B, HP and Compaq would be foolish not to have a plan B also.
