Elmer Re...I don't see HWP/CPQ using it and I don't see IBM adding a forth architecture to Power, Itanium and Xeon. Dell is all Intel. Unisys is heavily into Intel too. My bet is Sun, if anybody.<<<<<<<<

A lot will depend upon how good Hammer is. My bet is that the small server companies who want to become big server companies, and know that they can't compete against Dell will opt for the cheaper, and possibly higher performance than Xeon, alternative. Just as the white box is carrying AMD in desktop at 30% for small businesses and 20% for gov.; the white box vendors in the server space will likely lead the charge for Hammer, plus possibly Sun and the new HPQ.
