out like Jerky?

I would like to recommend:

Sounds Like Corn. Tastes Like Chicken.

Before the Curtain Rises...

Two drugs, Phase III completed. One, for which there is a real, identified need, awaiting FDA approval. Manufacturing facilities: built, equipped, provisioned, staffed - and approved.

Two drugs: one in five thousand.

Finalization of negotiations, and preparation for marketing with one of the pharma giants. Announcement probably coincidental with the Approvable Letter. All imminent.

Waiting in the wings, the Cloistered Star: PIII complete, and the data being assembled. Tantalizing glimpses of strange beauty: Vanderbilt, Pugen.

The last few months: longer, by far, than the years before.

In the chorus, the goblins, the wart-nosed witches clutch their bags of stinking, rotten fruit, and rehearse the screaming paean to paranoia: It'll never work, they're too dumb, they'll steal your money,it'll make a human China Syndrome and rot you through,it's no good, you're gonna lose,WATCH OUT!

They sing the litany again, and again: The Bashers: misanthropes of the investing world, spreading their poison in the hope of profit from the Fear of the Innocent.

In the foyer, the longs, their tickets purchased, chitchat about the play: they've read the book.

They glance with anticipation at the usher, still holding the velvet sash.

Soon, the house lights will come up...
