Don, didn't ML today say they saw no turnaround for telecom even in 2003? How come they can see almost 2 years into the future now but they couldn't see 3 months in spring 2000? ``It's investors absorbing what many of us have been saying for some time -- essentially that the capital spending environment still looks weak, and we do not expect any recovery in 2003,'' said Merrill Lynch analyst Simon Leopold.
