Got a Abit Kr7a-R here, it is going back reguardless because it only worked for 5 hours after me touching every capacitor on the board {took about 6 hours to get the bios to recieve a setting in the first place} BUT now the computer starts to rev up after you turn it on, and within 3 seconds powers down. Is this not the cpu thermistor causing the board to auto shut down {AKA: a symptom of a burnt CPU?} I know the CPU to be good. Last night I had the thing running for 5 hours transferring files from one HD to the other, and after I shut it down last night, I came back after 8 hours, and then that new problem existed.... Any opinions guys.

PS: what does RMA stand for. {Risk more Assets?}
PPS: only HDD's, CDrom, Floopy and Video card{msi gf2-400 }installed. Athlon 1900 Xp, OS:98se.
PPSS: Original prob: bios would not hold settings
