The Shiites will turn out to be closet Unitarians, and the Kurds will cease to desire independence once they see what a lovely place the new Iraq has become. That would be nice. <g> I was kind of fishing when I put it out that way. I'll have to do real work on it. Don't have a lot of time - moving end of the month. I don't think the pessimist arguments are a lot more telling than than the optimtist, in this case. Except the military logistics in the present circumstances, but circumstances might well change.
