Words! Words! Words!

It's all a matter of semantics!
It's all a matter of propaganda!

The U.S. felt justified in attempting to finish off Osama with a cruise missile but failed.

Since Saddam is such a monster, why not finish him off, too, PDQ! Surely, the U.S. has the means. But why the delay and all the recriminations?

If I were a fan of SH would I be suggesting immediate elimination of SH now?

For sure, there are demons! But their power has been overrated to extremes, IMHO. Just finish whatever job has to be done. All this noise and mass hysteria are quite unnecessary. But remember, there will always be consequences galore! Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.

Good God - you can find despots all over the world to attack. The case against Sadaam is being mounted so that America can wage a war. If you've read Ritter at all recently you can see that we're seeing trumped up pretexts for America to topple Sadaam. This is the most interesting effort being waged now - propaganda. America didn't give a damn when it encouraged the Kurds to rise up and then left them in the lurch.
