">>You remeber Bill Harmond don't you?
LOL! How could I forget "scaling down Billy". I saw this the other day and I couldn't stop laughing. Every pick was his, then his "last mile metro" picks came along later.:>)"

Bill came to mind when I read that too. I am very pleased I am not trying to make my living on stocks using his picks.

I bring up our on-line success mostly due to an obsession now with it. You recall I could not stop talking about Amazon. I get obsessed LOL. In this case, I was getting quite bored with the daily routine of operating retail jewelry. Almost thirty years of doing the same thing can do that to a person. Then this new channel became available and it was/is a challenge to see how efficiently we can manage it. I suppose I am saying work is fun again to a point. The point is I am getting old for the long hours <G> My real big winner is the drive through jewelry pick-up window. I have filed for a patent on that. The local customers an in this case mostly men, can make their purchase on their employer's time including making payment. Then after work they drive through and pick up their wrapped package so pay no shipping. With the Valentine's Day promotion we offered one drink at their favorite local bar. The bar owners gave us a very low price because most people will not have just one drink. The men often went to the bar after work regardless. Our drive through on the day prior to Valentine's Day looked like a bank drive through on pay day. I believe these men and many more through word of mouth will use this method for all the major jewelry holidays. It is not suited for buying an engagement ring. That is a different method of buying. It is perfect for men that do not like to shop to buy a gift for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and of course, Christmas. The amount of time people shop while on their employer's time is amazing.
