As we know, however, the doomsters ignore the facts - or at least those facts that don't jive with their pessimistic preconceptions.

Excess money supply growth is only a problem if it is not supported by underlying economic productivity. M3 growth right now is not a cause for concern - in fact we should be happy about it. It's part of our reward for having the most innovative, most productive economy on the planet.
