This might not be such a problem for a Presidential election One thing about it that instantly appealed to me is that we'd have better data about voter preferences. Right now, we know how many voted for a third party candidate but we don't know how many people chose not to because they'd be wasting their votes so we don't really know how much that candidate resonated. This way we would know. And we would also know how many votes that candidate took from each of the major party candidates. It always bugs me that we don't have good answers to those questions. Karen
