If Kerry of Mass is going through the motions this time in pursuit of the real aim (2008), I'd say he poses a formidable challenge among the Donkeys. He's the only Senate level force I see aspiring. Daschle's main prob is his home base carries no weight. No governor comes to mind that comes without key liabilities. The Elephants have several potential candidates, though the only Senator that comes to mind is McCain. Quite a few decent guvners tho.
