Thank goodness God is bigger than man and He can direct things accordingly. The bible is the word of God and He is very specific about the last days. Check it out. This new "spirituality" fits right in to the great deception that will permeate the earth in the end.

The Man of Lawlessness
2 Thessalonians 2
1 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

"Prior to printing many documents were copied not exactly. Those that read better, or satisfied their readers better were read more often and copied more often."

The Dead Sea Scrolls put that argument to rest! A scroll with the complete book of Isaiah was found in one of the Qumran caves and it contained essentially the same words that we possess today. This find confirms that the Septuagint was transmitted faithfully through virtually hundreds of copyings!

In addition, many fragments of the various Old Teatement books were found and these fragments also confirm that the Bible we have today was, in essence, faithfully transmitted over 2200 years!

The Septuagint version of the bible lives in the Othodox Church today. This version is over 2300 years old and despitre the hundreds of copyings and translations, we still have the essential text in Greek.
