Oh, I agree those forces could only be placed there as a result of some sort of agreement between the Israelis and Palestinians. If so, I don't think the above is likely to happen.

I guess I just have a hard time understanding what the Palestinians want anymore....at least what the Israelis could possibly agree to.

I doubt that Israel will give in on the right of return or a complete return of Jerusalem. They seemed willing to give up pretty much everything else at Taba and Camp David.

As others have noted....the Palestinians are winning.
