sentiment is best reflected by capturing how people move
their money, ie, how many shares of bear funds are moved
to shares of bull funds. total asset itself going up and
down with the market. for example, if nas drops by 5%,
venture asset would jump by 10% and velocity by -10%, the
asset ratio would change by 22%, without anybody moving any
money. This change in asset ratio has nothing to do with
sentiment. that's why i said shares ratio is a more
meaningful measure of sentiment.
