Greetings Scott,

Went to Vail/Beaver Creek. Spring skiing conditions made for a soft base in the afternoon. Would have gotten sunburn had i not worn sunblock. Built up the courage to go big in the terrain park.. so much fun. Skied 10 days total and improved my skills quite a bit. Had no injuries so i suppose that's an accomplishment in and of itself. ;-)

Looking forward to next season. Might actually move out there for the winter months as i have strengthened some old friendships and also met a few new people whom live out there. The laid back atmosphere in a resort town such as Vail is very addictive. :-)

On another subject... this thread is one year old today. I surely hope that more than just a few people have found its content to be of value. I'm not entirely sure how much more time I am going to commit to it.. but will most likely continue to post here sporadically. There are many more websites which i wish to contribute, but my time to surf becomes increasingly compressed as the summer months approach.

Sometime in the near future, I intend to start writing at livejournal.com ... I think it would be healthy for me to express my opinions more often than i do currently and i don't think SI is necessarily the best place to do so. Also, i feel that sometime down the road i'm going to want to look back upon my thought processes and having them in an archive format such as the one at livejournal.com should make for some entertaining reading a few years from now. I haven't maintained a journal b4 and I'm not sure how i will start it off.. but then the initiation of this thread was the same way... and i like the manner in which it has evolved... so i'm sure things will work themselves out.

Hope your Florida trip went well.

Best regards to all,
Dave
