...Barrick Gold continues to be an aggressive hedger but JP Morgan reckons a battle royal has broken out between America's once largest producer and its usurper, Newmont Mining. "While Barrick will now deliver only half of its production into its forward sales programme, it appears to be faced with the need to increase the size of the book, as lower gold prices and reduced positive forward carry mean it must leave ounces in the book longer to achieve better gold prices," the broker said...
