I have never heard of the Ester Shapira, nor seen this movie you mention. Interesting though, please provide links.
As for the rest of the boy's story, we have all seen the angles here, and after good observation and distance measuring I had done on all the maps that did agree on the lines, I concluded that the Israeli probably did not kill that kid, at least with a strait shooting. Now, was he killed by some guy working with the TV team ? I would not state such an accusation unless some movie did give pertinence to the subject. However I did found it strange the camera was focused on the father and son (almost right angle to the street view, an angle highly unusual in media coverage work under action...

Now that I have read the whole article of this Chamish, and since you asked, I disagree with what he says about many things, most notably, the origin of Palestinians, or rather philistines around this supposed holyland of a speachless god ; not to mention the Peres connection in the Rabin's assassination, a typical "hysteria Judaica" syndrome, or in more siliconian words, a "Jaegerian dam breaking washout" if some tea is spilled.

Most historians and archeologists whose work I have followed some, tend to agree that the Philistines came from Cyprus ar Crete around 1100 BC, and settelled along city coast that they did built.
Now, knowing the exact number is beyond anyone reach; deciding that they made too many kids, not enough, that they mixed with other population, that the UK brought many of them in order to manipulate their world order and so on is quite irrelevant to the actual subject, just as well as to ask those populations to be exchanged against Jews incoming from other arab land where they lost all property and goods. But Chamish does it too.

Thus the Jews of Israel must understand (and do) that they effectively did push Palestinians out since 47, some hundred of thousands, that these people had nothing else to do but eat the UN food, take the medicines, make kids and prey for the best but expect the worst, which they did.
And basically, that's what we have now, but it is ending, and the PA did not win, not have they played so well ie Arafat kissing Saddam after the Koweit invasion, Palestinians chanting after september 11, Karine A bust, 130 some kamikaze and so on.
Is it the core of the problem that they realize they lost, or not? The kamikaze is their grand finale, a Samson syndrome in reverse in this Mid East volcano, or theater as you wish, for both apply ?

Should it mean that the Jews of Israel are to be expected to commit some king of a demographical democratic suicide for moral reasons ?

No as none of both will happen, and we are just seeing the last moves, with the big next show in Lebanon, later thousands or more students in many countries soon manifesting for the Peace, more turmoil, and a settlement between the actors in place unless one has to be replaced due to "actions", and the game ending about just the same, but later, after more scary blows in its own grand finale, followed by minute adjustments on lands %, and the WH ceremony before spring 2003 with those still alive.

Thats my opinion, and Cheney moves this week reaffirm this analysis. SO we'll see.
But right now, I feel alone with these opinions.
