That's what I have noticed in the past few days. That's what makes me wonder if we are nearing an end of a down leg, when the high beta stocks severely under-perform the QQQ. That's how I have been arbitrarging anyway. A massive whipsaw in the high beta stocks IMHO will mark the end of the down leg, hopefully not at my expense ;-)
