The market started tanking after the FED meeting. Worry over interest rates due to change of FED bias. Fed news was positive, but the market is giving it a different spin.

<did Greenspan say anything in the last 2 days to make the market tank?>

Not really -- he didn't change the interest rates BUT did change the bias to neutral saying that the economy was getting better but NOT saying how much better nor when!

Some interpreters are believing or inferring or progrostocating that an interest rate hike is imminent -- some are even saying that 2-3 hikes this year are possible.

Personally - I think maybe 1 hike this year but only 'if' employment and & earnings show MUCH improvement.

The KEYS will be EANINGS & EMPLOYMENT --- nothing proven/shown there yet !!!

Michael

P.S. - did you make it down here to FL & how was it ??
