You only thought you were disagreeing, but if you read what you wrote you'd see that you said inflation expectations are one of the things that change demand and consequently long term yields. Maybe the demand changes because the yield changes. -g-

BTW you'd have a very difficult time putting forth a thesis explaining intraday stock price movements using supply demand curves. Once you delve into what it is that really moves stock price you'd throw out these classic economic models, the catch is you have to have your mind open to the idea that everything you know about price and its movement in regards to stocks is pretty much wrong.
