It is not what Gross is saying, it is the fact that GE has gone to the market soaking $11 B last week and they are threatening to soak another $50 B (shelf registration). GE and the market are afraid that the CP window may be cl,osed to them in the future, and thus are planning to replace a lot of that temporary (in essence day to day) financing with real financing. The problem of course, is that the cost of such "real financing" might be at 300 basis points higher than CP. Last, don;t forget that Gross cannot go out there and actually say real negative things about GE, most of his concerns are financials, thus he as to be very careful how he words his ideas. Listen to what he does, he is not going to buy any GE paper in the near future. Period, that is as close as to "short the stock" as it comes from a guy like Gross.

NV, just a week ago you were quite positive, now you exude bearishness, time to look beyond the valley of death into the spring rally that is coming soon (g).

They're cutting more capex because demand is weak. Forget about techs for a while. Networkers will feel more pains from here.
