Re: McCain would have been president and I think he would have been if not for dirty tricks by the Bush team members in South Carolina.

I completely agree with you on this point. Like you, I would have prefered McCain to Gore. Bush is just showing what a deceptive lie-based selfish grasper he is. Totally devastating to the sensibilities of intelligent and honest Republicans across the country.

That's a pretty cold thing to say about someone you like. I have seen plenty of evidence that he does care for the common folk, so to boldly state that he does not is a pretty strong thing to say. You didn't say "I don't think Bush has any business being president", you said he crapped on the little guy for his own benefit. If you ever said that to me, I would assume that you do not like me, and for you to say it about him, I assume the same.

How could you like a man who did not care for the public, but only himself? And did you see this trait in either of the Clintons?
