Athlon XP prices in free fall on Pricewatch

Pricing looks ugly right now: Since Monday Athlon XP ASPs have fallen by about $4 (or 2.5%) to a new low for the quarter. If this trend continues, overall ASPs that have looked very good so far could come under serious pressure. I hope AMD isn't stuffing the channel at the end of the quarter. While availability for the XP2100+ is very healthy (already 54 entries) the price has dropped by $20 in only two days and is now at a 40% discount compared to list price. The other models are also getting cheaper pretty fast.

Andreas
