Yet another article on vix. Interesting. I have no problem with the idea that vix remains low during recoveries and periods of <edit> higher growth. But as I trade the techs and specifically the NDX, I would think that even those who are buying the "recovery" notion would have to admit that there is still great uncertainty earnings in the tech sector. The vix and vxn, more pronounced for the vxn, have continued to make lower lows on lower highs in the averages.

It is the complacency in the face of such uncertainty that leads me to believe that the low vix and vxn signal potential danger. Especially in tech.
