Fred,

SI accepts a few formatting commands. The ones I know are " I " for italics, " B " for bold, and " pre " for fixed pitch font. If X represents any of the above, the command <X> starts the formatting and </X> ends it. For any fixed pitch tables, build them in a word processor using a fixed pitch font (or else you will go crazy trying to get it right). Then cut and paste into SI and add the format commands.
