let's see how confidence holds up when inflation arrives
starting with energy and food
then generally
2001 saw a 20% increase in US Money Supply
that is working its way into price structures

very likely to see Fed raise rates
with uptick in inflation comes higher 10-yr rates
then higher mortgage rates
all bringing a tougher climate on stock valuation models

personally, I am a strong believer in the quick recovery theory which turns to a mild debt-laden stall,
which brings up stagflation
(stagnating growth with inflation, just like 1980's)
