i agree with you on the volume, but we really need to give that crossover a chance to confirm, it's given early signals before, but once it convincingly makes the move...it's very reliable. I've read some anecdotal commentary (that I've never been able to confirm btw) that these specific exp. moving avg's are followed by instituions to generate signals. Supposedly this was outlined in one of the Market Wizards volumes... 8 sdma is also a KEY moving average used by institutions as outlined in "The Market Makers Edge"
