So would I. Apparently about 60-65 % of the people on death row typically have a prior record. My resistance to it being snuck in the back door as somehow informing the argument, either for guilt or for death--does not escape you, I am sure. We know how blind justice can be.

The courts are not supposed to consider the prior record in a felony case. This is laudable and shows a preeminent concern with human rights and the presumption of innocence. Unfortunately, your color and the fact that you live on skid row are not bits of information that may be hidden from the intelligent eyes of the jury...
