LOL! You're very right to point out the long-term picture, which has been horrible.

My own interest in HL is to diversify by shifting some of my pf into long-established producers. And of course to take advantage of Hecla's possible move back up to the teens in the next POS bull market! The big question is: What does POS stand for? -vbg-

Best regards,
Howy

Peter:

Despite the terrible long-term chart, one thing I like about HL is that big money will pour into it if/when the price of silver really moves. e.g. With silver up about 1%, HL's up over 10% at the moment on over 600,000 shares. No liquidity problems there! In contract, I have a long-standing position in Avino (ASM) which I would have sold years ago if I could find a buyer at a reasonable price. :^(
