I imagine it exists as people with such records are probably several times more likely to kill their partner then people with no such record, however its likely that a majority of abusers never commit murder, so you could not look at an abuser and say that he will eventually be a murderer."

As always, you are long on guesses, imaginings, probablies, likelies, and so forth...but short on facts and figures. I believe I have been attempting for several posts to get you to divulge your source for police records which prompted your original categorical statement on the matter. If you don't mind, I think I will consider (these several posts later without satisfaction) that your reference to "police records" was simply another one of your "guesses". Nothing wrong with that, Tim...except when it is passed off as factual knowledge--sure and unqualified...
