ALERT>-- With the bombing near our Embassy in Peru this morning, I think it is prudent to offset long market positions with S&P puts. (I have already done so) (The SPX is overvalued 18% anyway, so this is an easy one) This is cheap insurance, Imo, for the simple reason is they have already, or will soon figure out how to get across our border with Mexico. If millions of Mexicans can do it, so can a South American/Mideastern terrorist group intent on creating an event. Dust off the gold rats again too...
