Well, I wasn't just talking about sloppy, as you seem to be; I was also talking about discriminatory and corrupt. sloppy or corrupt or discriminatory punishment and you ask, How careful do we have to be to be sufficiently careful and my answer is that killing sloppily, corruptly or discriminatorily is a bit like pornography. I may not know how to quantify it, but I'll know it's "sufficiently careful" when I see it. For me, it's not "sufficiently careful" now, where sloppiness, corruption and discrimination are concerned that i am willing to be gleeful at executions and shout "Long live the death penalty!"
