Hoow simple of you : the Israelis did not learn any lesson from their former US Naval intelligence debacle! You really hope I'd be that stupid with those six Israelis doing a fictitious moving company celebrating. Yes they did, bat taste at least. See, some Jews are more stupid than what you can imagine. But look also at the works the FBI gave them for two months. They learned their lesson, no problem. Now, what is the name of that newspaper you linked : "Creative Loafing" ? Does loafing stand for stuffing bread in an artistic way or doing journalism with the same spirit. Creative Thomas, thanks anyway.

I seriously doubt the Israelis warned the U.S. The 5 Israelis who were filming and celebrating the WTC attack are proof of their desire to see this attack go through. Indeed, why would Israeli intelligence tip off the FBI about a low-key, REGULAR hijack setup devised in part by Israeli intelligence?? Besides, the whole scheme was compartmentalized both at the tactical level and staff level. I mean, the Russians didn't give the French and the Israelis advance notice of their plot to kill Massoud on Sept 9th. That's why I think the whole story about that Israeli spy-ring is both an intimation to Israel and, somehow, a diversionary subplot... By releasing that kind of anti-Israel infos, the US is making clear to Israel that even Israel won't be immune from retaliation. After all, the only foreign leader who stands head and shoulders above all others is British PM Tony Blair --"our true friend" as Prez Bush put it-- not PM Ariel Sharon... Altogether, it's a diversionary subplot artfully spinned by the FBI since it's very likely that the actual Israeli operatives wouldn't have been so stupid to monkey around in Manhattan's outskirts on Sept 11th... Moreover, a story about Israeli/Jewish agents spying on the US is no newsbreak! And, as you pointed out, the whole yarn winds up with a rather bathetic conclusion: the Israeli spy-ring was secretly tailing M. Atta and his gang because it suspected they were Bin Laden operatives, yet selfishly "failed" to warn US intelligence... How does US law call that again? Reckless endangerment? Correct? And what sanction does it call for? A slap on the wrist? As far as I'm concerned, I'll stick to my Russian/French/Israeli theory: 911 was a cointelpro conspiracy that was initially devised as a low-key terrorist strike against the US. Tajik warlord Ahmad Shah Massoud was the linchpin between the Russian supremo and the Arab manpower... When he got killed on Sept 9th, his hijack cells in the US understood that they just got screwed --in less than 24 hours, however, they whipped up a Plan B. So, they scrapped the plan to hijack international flights --too risky-- and switched on domestic ones (hence Moussaoui got left holding the bag... and his useless Boeing-747 license). Of course, you might still gainsay that they could just quit the whole boodle and do a runner. Well, problem is that they ain't your usual terrorist gang: they were Muslim warriors and probably swore by Allah and his prophet Muhammad that they were gonna carry on their mission to the end --even if it meant suicide/martyr. Besides, they surmised that the people who killed Massoud were all the more able to dispose of them in the future... they'd have no place to hide. Gus

--The 5 Israelis who were filming and celebrating the WTC attack are proof of their desire to see this attack go through. -- you know, that information was out a day or two after the attack, if memory serves. they also had boxcutters and such... but man, i find it impossible to make any kind of conclusions about anything these days. again, it simply appears as though some massive subterfuge is occuring... blanket answers don't seem to work... we've got an arafat who conveniently never dies... a saudi arabia - the richest, easiest plum out of the terrorist-sponsoring states' - that the administration won't even consider invading... the inconsistencies go on and on and on... i feel sorry for the people who have to keep the charade going... i mean whatever they're trying to hide... they're the ones living in fear, not i... then there are the cows who swallow the propaganda wholesale... i feel sorry for them too... i suppose the real horror would be to find out that the natural human condition is slavery and the ready acceptence of it... i mean what other conclusion could a person draw, were they to look at the known history of the world? so what happened back there in atlantis or in the mayan or incan temples? were the aztecs or toltecs culturally relevant? the christians will give an emphatic 'no!' but i'm not sure about that at all. what happened back in egypt? it's as thought each of us is now - at best - seeing a very small part of the 'real' picture... especially these days, anyone can drum up fiction out of thin air and present it as fact, and often get away with it... it's as if nothing is real...
