Mortgage Rates On The Rise Again

A recovering economy nudged U.S. mortgage rates higher for
the third consecutive week, Freddie Mac says. The 30-year fixed rate mortgage
averaged 7.14% for the week ending March 22, up from 7.08% a week ago. The
15-year rate also rose to 6.65% this week from 6.59%. Fees and points were
unchanged at 0.7%. Long-term rates are now the highest since week of January 3.
