A: GE to Sell More Bonds

Boston, Mar 21, 2002 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Responding to criticisms
that it is too dependent on short-term debt, General Electric (GE) said today it
plans to sell more bonds in Q2. The company has come under pressure over the
last few weeks as investors and debt rating agencies complain that the company
needs to cut its $100 billion in short-term debt.

This morning, GE is trading at the flat line on 8,100 Instinet shares.
