Brookelise: TA is not about Gurus, it’s about making money! Online "at-a-boys" will not buy you a stick of gum. Unless of course you are a "self anointed guru" trying to establish a following so you can charge for you BS. If folks are inclined to pay someone that posts on an internet message board for their market advice, without requiring said "self anointed market guru" to produce a verifiable record of success and I am not talking about market calls posted on a message board, but a real portfolio with a verifiable trading track record, then those folks deserve to be parted from their money. (Yeah, I know that was a run on sentence…) TA is only as good as the tools one chooses to use and one's ability to use those tools. Of course, TA is not 100%, but what is? If your aim is to "debunk self anointed gurus", you are not going to accomplish that by attacking TA in general...
