Demographics shapes drinks consumption. A huge market with a higher % of younger people points to high consumption of beer.

I traced my drinks consumption over the last 29 years. Before it was volume based. Today is quality based.

I used to drink sugar cane brandy and a few beers. As I got old, I stop with distilled stuff. I drink wine and can pay for the good stuff since the volume I drink is low.

Time will come that I would be -like our fellow USA and CAN citizens- spending USD3.95 in a Starbucks coffee.
