17:21 ET AMAT Applied Materials announces 2-for-1 stock split (52.02 +1.02)
Company announces that its Board of Directors has approved a two-for-one stock split of its common stock in the form of a 100% stock dividend. New shares resulting from this split are expected to be distributed on or about April 16, 2002 to stockholders of record as of April 1, 2002.
