But there are those who claim to be libertarians who also seem to think that gov't should get involved in social problems such as medical care.

We also had someone who I think considers himself a libertarian expressing a decidedly non-libertarian, socially conservative perspective on gays on Bill's questionaire.

There are degrees of acceptance of a philosophy. And differences on how to implement it. And there's also the fact that people can claim to be anything they want. There's no screening committee. At least not a formal one.
