Don Green: WSW was the first investment program I watched and for some time on a regular basis. Lou's personality made the show. I will not watch the new show...

LG

Fortune has tried shows in the past and fell flat.

The resident bear lost her elf hat right at the top too. I'll use it as a contrarian indicator. No one wants to tune into stock shows anymore. No wonder vix and vxn are so low. We lost all interest in stocks. Once the business shows gain ratings and the business magazines see increasing subscriptions again, I bet we'll be in a bull market again. I hope that's before my son is in college. In the meantime, we can just trade in a range.

I'm sure to get dinged on this, but what is with the following on LR?
I've seen WSW a handful of times and I didn't think his reading off cue cards was that impressive.
A good summary of the mkts for the week, but nothing earth shattering.

OTOH, I think it is likely a big mistake for PBS to run LR off roughshod. He obviously has a following.

oh, did I mention this was O/T? :-)
