I probably could have stayed in law, if I hadn't wanted to have children. The law and being a stay at home mom don't mix very well. I can teach and still be here for my kids. I am lucky that I didn't stay in law though. Because although I loved learning the law, and did very very well at it, I did not love it the way I love teaching. My husband was fortunate to find what he loved to do early. I am just glad I found it eventually. And of course being a stay at home mom for my children's formative years was probably the most rewarding things I will ever do. Did I mention I am also a mom? Because I am that too.
