This is the first stock split announced by a marquee tech name since I don't even remember when, not including the reverse splits of course.<g> I would interpret it positively. Ibexx

Well, they must like something that was said in the analyst meeting as AMAT is now above it's closing price @ $52.40...... about a 65¢ turn around.

Every other time they've split their stock, it's peaked. How quickly you forgot the stock split that Symc just had. Didn't you own it presplit? Gild just split. Not your type of sector I would imagine.
