Looks like the clock continues to tick on Itanium, any design wins lately? I haven't been following it. 9 more months to Hammer...at least...still a year late...

AMD continues the chant, "gotta get to Hammer"...

Gotta get to McKinley.

Jim,

Looks like the clock continues to tick on Itanium, any design wins lately?

THe Itanium is frozen in place, hoping that upcoming McKinley pilot will add some life to it. Design wins? -1. Dell canceled their workstation line.

I actually saw a 1.6 Ghz P4 notebook for sale so looks like the A4 should be going to model-hertz pretty soon now or AMD will get hurt in that market as well...

AMD is already doing ModelHertz with A4.

Joe

You are out of touch Jim. A4 has been model-hertz for a while. They have an A4 1600+ to match the P4 1600.
